




■ Overview of the Alliance
The Humanoid M.AX Alliance is a national consortium launched in April 2025 to accelerate the development of Korea’s humanoid robotics industry. The Alliance consists of 224 member organizations, including top AI research institutions, robot manufacturers, component suppliers, major universities, end-user companies, and research institutes as well as domain experts, forming a fully integrated innovation ecosystem.

1. Development of Shared Robot AI Foundation Models
Korea’s leading AI research teams collaborate with domestic robot manufacturers to develop shared Robot AI Foundation Models optimized for humanoid platforms.
2. Core Humanoid Technology R&D
R&D on next-generation humanoids featuring high-performance, lightweight, high-output, and high-speed actuation. Development of essential components…
Establishment of shared testbeds and development infrastructure to support humanoid R&D and promote cross-industry use.
3. Collaboration on AI Semiconductors & Mobility Batteries
Joint development of on-device AI semiconductor solutions and high-performance mobility batteries optimized for humanoid operation. Collaboration with national AI semiconductor R&D programs, linked to emerging sectors such as batteries, advanced computing, and next-generation mobility technologies.
4. Startup & Talent Development
Discovery and acceleration of high-potential startups, including the creation of a dedicated Humanoid Innovation Fund. Development of next-generation talent through a network of 20 leading universities, including Seoul National University and KAIST.
5. Strengthening Collaboration Between Suppliers and End-Users
Enhanced industry engagement through technical seminars, showcases, and robotics competitions. Facilitation of joint R&D projects, equity investments, and partnership formation between suppliers and end-user companies. Support for identifying collaborative tasks and providing tailored financial assistance.
